Three Loop Braids

Noémi Speiser, an authority on braiding, refers to these three braids as “The Trinity”. In her booklet Loop-Manipulation Braiding: Basic Instructions , she writes:

[These braids are] something like the ancestors of all loop-braided twill. When you understand them thoroughly, you have grasped the very essentials.

Traditionally, these are braided with five loops. I got playing around and realized that I could braid them with three loops by following similar manipulations.
